eulex/vetevendosje/billboards
Recently, new billboard-posters (poorly done) flourished around the city, applauding the work Eulex has been doing for the past couple of months. As expected, Vetevendosje were quick to react and skew the billboard-posters with their (poorly done) graffiti/spray. But what happened was astonishing: Eulex printed billboards with vetevendosje/graffiti style words, making it look like Vetevendosje did it. Of course, Unmik and Vetevendosje have a history of such type of communication: Vetevendosje paints the wall (surrounding the main Eulex compound) with giant letters accusing UNMIK (previous administrators) // UNMIK re-paints the wall and invites children to draw nice things about it, so in effect they try to create a barrier for Vetevendosje with drawings that were made by these young children. Eulex and Vetevendosje continue this cat/mouse game of obscuring the communicated message, acting against each other - which is totally fine and exciting and fun. Here's what happened now:
Eulex-sponsored billboard-poster with Vetevendosje's graffiti mark on it // message obscured.
Contact#1: Eulex tries to use Vetevendosjes billboard-poster trademark, and at the same time, to block Vetevendosje from ruining the posters with their own messages.
Contact#2: Vetevendosje re-states it's message.
Although, I think that Vetevendosje should have been smarter and at least used another spray-paint color (green, black, blue), and not use the same color as the one written. {update}: vetevendosje seems to be tired and bored of this, and just cut to the chase: huge "X" mark, bold/black, across billboard-posters in city centers, completely ruining the Eulex ones. Excited.
