it was so sad to see such a nice place close its doors. last night they hosted a goodbye party, a token for all the wonderful times passed over there. guri, mendurim, and others did a fantastic job in creating a super place to stay. i will still remember the first day me and nita went there, and how empty it was because almost noone knew of the place. So quick it became THE place for a lot of our friends, and many good times were shared in the place. The place was there for such a short period of time, but the good times will remain with me forever. (pictures taken from creme de la creme's facebook profile).

Bands that played in creme de la creme, prishtina were: Blonde Redhead, Interpol, Nouvelle Vague, Radiohead, ... and some other jazz/drum'n'bass/heavy albanian folk ... (people can add more bands since i cannot remember all).

i will miss creme de la creme dearly, and so will a lot others.
good luck to you guys, stay healthy and we'll see you around town.

but i'm glad i was there and witnessed the unveiling of the huge piece of art. i call it that way.

don't know if this was a proper expression by the daily Express newspaper, but i cannot deny me personal thoughts of agreeing with it either. I would love to see the reactions though.

I came back home, and found the Albanian flag waving from my balcony. It represents the accumulated excitement that I am going thru right now.
Speaking as a guy who is two(one?) day to be living in an independent country.
