Last night was reminiscent of the previous summer. as we headed for the Mavrovo mountain in Macedonia, flocks of people touched down on prishtina airport. these people are termed as "schatzis", because they are our relatives that come from foreign countries to spend the year-end here in the ever-decreasing yet ever-glowing warmth of their respected families. Schatzy season, a rightful name. Drini is one of the coolest (he does not like to be called a schatzi, but he is, but w we like him lots). His brother Sharr is a cool dude as well. Me and nita headed to TUKS (not been there since Joscef's performance in the summer) to meet Armelina and Agon for a closing party (the place was closing down. voices told us that the owner was threatened / coerced. 'haraq hesapi'). but anyways, they've lost our love after not treating our friend Joscef properly. The music was loud, some sort of electro playing (courtesy of KS clubber guys. mah); the smoke was blinding, but it was here that we saw Drini and others. it was such a good surprise because i really miss him - him being a cool friend. We talked a lot about their time at the Justice performance, and how mind blowing it was. I told them that they could die in piece, something I would not be eligible to do, until i see them perform.
After that, we went to Creme (sweet place) and drank a little, talked a lot more. Drin just kept knocking Peja beers one by one. Teff, Rina and Narta were with them too, so me and nita joined them. Rina was afraid that she would get into trouble with her parents, for staying up out late - and Ron was being a bitch and not answering her calls. Ron, you're good and all, but that night you deserved to be called with inappropriate nouns and adjectives. Rina left, and we left for Johny Depo - a place with good music/vibe/music. Vigan (not me, but one of the guys that runs the place) played some old school rock/roll, some French stuff and people filled the place and we were crazy-dancing-baby all the way. I spoke with Sharr - Drin's brother - and he told me how he liked Soulwax a lot, and how he would remix songs. I enjoyed the conversation a lot, and Drin was so full that he would just kill the dj and grab the mixer and play some real hard ed-banger/kitsune/daftpunk dancesongs. Went home at around 3am.
Drin called tonight, but me and nita were just returning home (9:30pm), but we'll meet tomorrow (drin and sharr are leaving on Tuesday). So sad to see them go. It kind of reminded us of the feeling we had during the summer's endless nights and lots of people.
