vote me.

today was a an important day in our university's democratic processes. elections always pose a test for functioning and dysfunctional democracies, and this one was a corner-stone to our democratically built foundations. i sound like one of our asslicking politicians. i hate it. Here's the thing, i voted for Ron in this year's AUK Student government elections.
+++++
There were totally 271 voters, out of 365 students at AUK, or 74.25% of AUK. The votes were divided as following:

1. Besar Dinarama and Ron Krasniqi (sophomores) .................... 125 votes (46.13%)

2. Granit Jakupi and Granit Hasani (freshman) ............................. 86 votes (31.73%)

3. Alban Zeka and Ardian Hasanaj (fresh./soph.) .......................... 56 votes (20.66%)
Abstains………………………………………………………........ 4 ‘votes’ (1.48%)

Total: 271 voters (74.25%)

+++++
So there you have it. my man ron won the thing and is now the vice-president of the student government. he also sold half of his heart and soul for this. i haven't seen him yet, and when i do, i'm gonna ask him to buy me a rich, chocolate ice-cream and a bottle of water. go Ron and just Run!

With few easy steps, our living room morphed into a fan-zone in a football stadium. this is just an example of how it actually looked:

I have to give credit to my brother for supporting Manchester United (Man.Utd) the whole seasons. there were a lot of tears, nervous breakdowns, merchandise-money wired to London, and crazy inhumane shouts as matches were played. I tried my best to be a Manchester United hater, and still am, but they played some nice football and won the Premiership (British football league cup), "wow". Since i don't root for major teams, the team cheer for usually ends up in a relegation battle at the end of the season - as it is happening right now.

Sagmeister

i was on my way to return an overdue book that i rented from the school's new library. it cost me 60 cents for the overdue book or a return bus ticket home. but it was all worth it because i found this newly arrived book just seeping dust on the shelves.

a Sagmeister designed book in our school's library is just amazing to see. i just wanted to hold the book and run away like crazy from the library. but i did not. i put the book back on the shelf and took some pictures. i will read it after i'm done with next weeks finals.
